Agnes RF uses monopolar radio frequency energy delivered through semi-insulated microneedles designed to reach the dermis and superficial fat layers without damaging the epidermis. The heat coagulates underlying tissues to initiate the body's healing processes. This method can reduce unwanted fat in areas such as the lower eyelid, jowls, and under the chin. It also stimulates collagen production to promote cellular turnover and reinforce the skin's support network. The thermal energy tightens the skin for a smoother appearance. For acne treatment, the heat destroys specific sebaceous glands and reduces oil production.
Smaller treatment areas result in shorter recovery times, with mild redness lasting 1-3 days. Swelling and minimal bruising can occur for a few days up to a week. More intensive treatments in larger areas like the jowls and jawline may cause moderate swelling that lasts 1-2 weeks or more.
Discomfort after treatment is usually mild to none, though altered sensations such as numbness or prickliness are normal and will resolve within days to weeks. Regular activities can be resumed on the same day. To prevent hyperpigmentation, we recommend gentle handling of the treated area for 48 hours and avoiding sun exposure for 2 weeks.
Most clients will notice some immediate tightening after the treatment. However, the best results will appear within 1-2 months following the procedure. Additionally, it requires several weeks for the body to eliminate the disrupted fat cells from the treated area.
While one treatment can show improvement, for best results, two to three treatments spaced two to three months apart are often needed. Acne treatments typically require four to six sessions, each one month apart.
